SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES AND A FEW GUIDELINES

Provisional Offer Letter 2024
Online Registration of Programme, Fee Payments and uploading of documents on IIT Mandi SAMARTH portal
(Process flow, etc. for uploading details/documents on SAMARTH will be shared separately via email/website).
Date of registration in the programme will be considered as 3rd August, 2024 		25th July, 2024 to 1st August, 2024
If registration is not completed or fee is not paid by 1st August, 2024, allotted seat will be automatically cancelled.

Student is required to come at any of the counter in Auditorium complex to know his/her allotted hostel.

As per the norms, based on the Family Income, the eligible students may avail below concession:

  1. The most economically backward students (whose family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per annum) shall get full remission of tuition fee.
  2. The other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per annum) shall get remission of 2/3 rd of tuition fee.
  3. For availing above fee concession, please submit valid family income certificate issued by the authorized officials in Revenue Deptt./DC/SDM/Tehsildar, etc. (issued on or after 1st April, 2024) along with the notarized Affidavit.
  4. The family income certificate and affidavit should be submitted on the SAMARTH portal while making remaining payment and/or updating the fee details.
  5. If income certificate and affidavit are not submitted during the above mentioned duration, no fee concession will be permitted and the student shall pay full fee.

List of Documents (Original as well as self-attested Photocopies) required for online registration (on IIT Mandi SAMARTH portal)/during physical document verification

  1. Class X Board Certificate or other document submitted at JoSAA portal for DOB proof.
  2. Class XII mark sheets
  3. Medical Fitness Certificate as per JoSAA format.
  4. Category certificate (OBC (NCL)/Gen-EWS/SC/ST/PwD/DS)
    In case of OBC-NCL/Gen-EWS category, the certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2024
    Original certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable
  5. Copy of Passport, VISA (in case of OCI/PIO/NRI/Foreign Nationals)
  6. Final course and institute allotment letter issued by JoSAA.
  7. Admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2024 Examination.
  8. Proof of payment made at the time of seat allocation to JoSAA.
  9. Proof of payment of remaining fee to IIT Mandi.
  10. Scanned Photograph.
  11. Scanned Signature.
  12. Copy of Aadhar Card/Any document issued by the Government regarding address proof (if copy of Aadhar is not available)
  13. Family Income Certificate to claim Fee Concession/Scholarship (only if availing fee concession Scholarship).The certificate must be issued on or after April 01, 2024
  14. Affidavit to avail Fee concession/scholarship (only if availing fee concession /Scholarship)

In addition to the above, the following documents are also required at the time of Document Verification:
