It is essential to have an insurance to cover for your medical and important belongings, while studying at IIT Mandi.

It is essential to have an appropriate health insurance while studying at IIT Mandi. You will be provided with only out-patient facility at IIT Mandi’s Medical Unit (located on-campus). Thus, you should obtain a personal health insurance policy yourself, covering sickness and accidents before leaving your home country.

The Institute will not be liable for any damages on account of any injuries/loss during the stay at the Institute.

Therefore, international students should have insurance coverage for the period stay at the Institute.
